something about being happy

one piece that gives me pause

being truly happy cannot last

how can you know it will never change?

it will only get worse

if you told someone

their actions didn't matter

if they really didn't

they would live differently

what if it doesn't matter

we are all wasting our lives

on the off chance that we

as a people

as a society

guessed right

about something we will never understand

but on the off chance

maybe some people will end up

happier

forget the odds

lets try anyway
